Dudley (Thomas) is born in England.

Born in England in England in 1576, Thomas Dudley is one of the original founders of the Massachusetts Bay Company, Thomas Dudley arrives in Boston in 1630, and moves to Cambridge (then Newtowne) in 1631.* A sometimes rival of John Winthrop, he serves as deputy governor numerous times and as governor (1634, 1640, 1645, 1650). Dudley dies in Roxbury on July 31, 1653.
